There's a former French players coach who does some very good analysis. I dont remember his name put it looks like he does his podcast on his home balcony terrace.. You can keep Roddick.. I dont know if anyone every called him Andrew
The best podcast and analysis is Gil Gross l suggest you listen to him both El Dude and I give him the best thumbs up
Gee where is your sense of humour gone I was joking when l referred Rodick as Dear Andrew lol though in regards to Radancu he was correct she does need to play more tournaments and does get injured a lot
BTW Emma has withdrawn from Eastbourne, citing she would rather have time with her coach practicing than match play? it has been a pattern of Emma since she won her GS title at the USO, she has had 10 coaches since she turned professional, when she loses she fires her coaches :)

Elena Rybakina has withdrawn from Bad Hombourg next week, "right hip discomfort"
With the withdrawal of Rybakina, Iga Swiatek becomes the No 1 seed
Katie Boulter has been awarded a wild card

Emma Raducanu wont be playing Eastbourne, believes practicing with coach Andrew Richardson is more beneficial than match time before Wimbledon

The womens field is wide open for Wimbledon 2026
Rybakina was to play Bad Hombourg after her disgraceful exit in Berlin with 41 UFE in 2 sets of tennis, now has withdrawn due to right hjp issue
Sabalenka turned her match around today in Berlin she was lucky she didnt exit in straight sets
I will wait to see how Andreeva goes at Bad Hombourg, she has a good game for grass
Iga is now the No 1 seed at Bad Hombourg, though personally I cant see her defending Wimbledon this year, Wim Fissette isnt her coach and he got her to play outside her comfort zone, her serve needs attention, she mentally lost it at RG to Kostyuk
Oh well interesting times ahead, presently there isnt a favorite to me for Wimbledon

Paula Badosa has withdrawn from qualies in Bad Hombourg with a leg injury, after receiving a WC into Berlin and playing one match, then defeated she cant seem to remain healthy it has been the story of her career for the last 12 months

I just went to see if the news of Serena Williams was confirmed and she was indeed given the last singles wild card, many journalists were saying she would be given the last singles main draw wild card and they were correct
Serena has only played 2 matches on grass? lets see when the draw comes out who she will be facing for starters,
One thing is guaranteed is Serena will pack out whatever arena she is playing in singles and also Venus and Serena in the doubles
Venus and Serena are in the doubles at Wimbledon being granted a wild card

These following players are favored to win at Wimbledon this year, I still feel it is wide open and the top 2 seeds Sabalenka and Rybakina have played poor on the grass before Wimbledon

Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina, Gauff, Andreeva, Andisimova, Pegula, Raducanu

I cant see Gauff doing much at Wimbledon, Andisimova has an injury cloud her back, Raducanu was to play another tournament before Wimbledon, decided not to, prefer to practice with her coach instead, Pegula has played well on the grass, though lets not forget she went out in R1 in 2025?
Lets see how Andreeva does at Bad Hombourg, she does have the game for grass.
Muchova can play on grass, if healthy, Swiatek will also play at Bad Hombourg, I still have a question mark on Iga if she can defend her title of 2025

As much as I would love to see Serena compete in singles, I think I would have preferred to see her compete in smaller tournaments and work her way into the US Open. I feel like she took the bait that Wimbledon and the media wanted.

Agree Sunday
The media were all over wanting Wimbledon to give Serena the remaining singles wild card, nearly every day
Serena has played 2 doubles matches on grass, I would prefer her to just play doubles with Venus
If Serena is really serious about returning to the tour, I agree with your thoughts work her way in smaller tournaments into the USO

Fresh slippery grass, lack of competition, older body....Can she still do the splits? Never liked her that much but I don't want her to hurt herself either trying to prove...what exactly? Being a mom is not tough enough?

And whom (poster) said that this was her primary singular goal and ambition ...hmmm
