Oh okay, the most recent photos I have seen of Serena she was looking svelte:)
what do you think? I can't tell if it's the angle of the pic or if there really is a bump there

It has been confirmed that Emma Raducanu has re-hired Andrew Richardson, who coached Emma to her USO GS title win, he was sacked immediately after the USO, is now back with Raducanu, Emma has gone through 10 coaches, a lot of them had short coaching stints with Emma,
Raducanu has not played since IW, with a on going virus, she acccepted a WC got for Strasbourg, lets see if she actually takes the court :)

Who is the new coach for Victoria Mboko? Wim Fissette she has started working with Wim on a trial basis, at Strasbourg my Canadian tennis friend just sent me a text and a photo of both of them. Interesting!

Okay just listening to the current podcast Served from Andy Roddick regarding the rumors of Serena Williams coming back to play in the grass season, Jon Wertheim backed this up on the podcast as well.
Apparently Serena has asked for a wild card to Queens playing doubles with Vicky Mboko which makes sense playing doubles first up, then there is another grass tournament after Queens, a Berlin tournament? also Andrea Petkovic, commentator backed up this rumors
Personally speaking I feel Serena would want to play in singles at Wimbledon and also doubles with her sister Venus
Lets see if these rumors come true, I am certain everyone would welcome Serena come back.

I called this one a few weeks ago..my “girlfriend “ AP pretty much let it out the bag when she was interviewing at TC in early March about her hitting sessions with her mentor..it will be must see tv for everyone including her naysayers imo. I always felt the grass would be the surface because it amplifies her many weapons..I not expecting her to win any tournaments or big matches but it will be good to see this generation’s GOAT again.

I also read that interview in March regarding AP hitting with Serena,
Agree if Serena comes back grass being one of her best surfaces makes sense, also playing doubles in smaller tournaments is the right way to go, for starters. Roddick says he believe she will play singles and doubles at Wimbledon.
Lets see, though Jon Wertheim and Andy Roddick would not be just 'talking about it ' on his podcast for something to talk about
Andy Roddick is still close with both Serena and Venus btw

If she plays anywhere near her 2019 level, I think she will go deep in tournaments and possibly even win. The tour is so much weaker now in than in 2019 (Jessica Pegula being ranked in the Top 5 now at 32, while she was barely in the Top 100 at age 25 is proof of this.) Plus, back in 2019, you had players like Ash Barty and Naomi Osaka.

If I had to guess, jf Serena plays this year, it will be doubles only, to keep her Hall of Fame eligibility intact. She will only enter singles after she is announced to the Hall of Fame. It doesn't make sense to pull a Philip Rivers and play singles this year, which will delay her Hall of Fame induction for another 5 years.

Serena wont be winning Wimbledon okay, regardless if you think the tournament is weaker goodness sake
This is 2026 you cant expect Serena to be playing at anywhere near her 2019 level? Come On
Lets see how and if Serena goes if she plays doubles with Mboko in Queens for starters?

Sorry, this would be like Borg returning years after retirement. It's over. Serena is not winning another slam. The game moves on, and she's a lot older.

I don't think the women's tour is weak right now.... it's probably more interesting than the men's tour at the moment.

I don't think Serena has a lot left in the tank, but maybe her motivation is to add to her doubles collection which I do think she could maybe even collect the mixed slams missing from completing her slam haul.

I think I really just want to see her back on court. We will really know something once we see how she holds up on court.
