Its really hard to compare anyone in my opinion to Klay.. When Klay is on a heater or in rhythm, its safe to say that he is one of the best in game marksman ever epecially from the 3 point line.. Klay is very similar to Ray Allen.. just an absolutely perfect form but doesnt try to take the Dame Dollar and Step Curry shots from 5 or more feet behind the 3 point line. Step and Dame are real Globetrotters .. they are ridiculous to the sublime!!

I tried to wake up for it, but couldn't manage it. Just looking at the box score, it looks like McDaniels is becoming a Klay Thompson level contributor, and Shannon Jr did his thing again. I wonder what Shannon will look like once the Spurs work on the scouting report. I've never really entertained the possibility of the Wolves winning it all, of course it's not really a possibility, but... if it happened I wouldn't be made at it at all. And maybe my thinking it's impossible is me not giving Ant Man his due respect. It got me thinking though, what would my preference be for this play offs.. in order of preference first to last...

Why do you hate the Cavs? It was a certain much hated man driving that ship for four years, now it’s a totally different squad. I wouldn’t mind seeing them do well and they should have a decent shot at this series. Spida is always fun to watch but never has been past the 2nd round, and this is probably his best chance. If they do get to the ECF I think they’d get creamed by either a hot Knicks team, which is likely the case, or a streaking 76ers squad full of confidence.

I still have disdain for the Cavs even if you know who isn't there anymore, but it's Harden. I just don't like the way he plays. Winning a ring would validate him in a way so I would rather not. But for sure... it's not on the same level of disdain I have for OKC and the Lakers. With the Lakers I'm a double hater. Because it's the Lakers and I don't want you know who having more rings than my guy

Step needed an in game bodyguard similar like Jordan had with Charles Oakley.. trying to be fair to Draymond here, it's entirely possible that Steph wouldn't have been fully unlocked in quite the way he was without Draymond, so we have to respect that. That's not to say that Steph wouldn't have been great, but the screening, the assists, the complete buy in to unlock Steph's full potential was done with complete buy in from Draymond in a way that other players might not have done. Others might have cared more about their individual numbers than creating an absolute demon of a team mate that powered the franchise to multiple rings. That's a credit to Draymond. But the idea that Kerr stifled him in any way? That's a lie, and I'm sure he knows it. As a Warriors fan, the number of times Draymond has passed up lay ups to try to pass to Steph and led to a turnover... aaaaargh! It has been infuriating. But I will say.. apart from 2016, when it's really mattered Draymond has generally shown up, he's made some monumental plays. Kerr helped him realise the best that he could be. If Draymond thinks that being a slightly better offensive option, probably at the expense of his extraordinary defence then he's smoking something really bad for his health. It's utter madness

It's like Luka without the flopping, with toughness and defence. It's so clear to me that he can add more to his offensive arsenal. It's possible the Cavs could make it a series, but I wouldn't be shocked if Detroit dispose of them comfortably. Within the games it might be a battle but the end result, after the fact, might end up looking really easy. Is it too simplistic to call it the battle of the soft bigs vs the tough bigs?

Lol! Looking through my X feed, I see loads of clips of SGA flopping. While I'm sure there's truth to that, it's rich coming from Lakerdom. For once I recognised the bias in the posts! Did anyone watch it? Was it as straightforward as it seemed?

If LeBron still wants to play, I figure it will be in LA but Luka is always hurt come playoff time and the roster still has a lot of holes, so if he’s serious about competing I don’t think it’s in LA. They definitely don’t have to pay Reaves the max and could look to move him. Not sure he’s a good fit with Luka anyways since they are both poor defenders. Harden is a decent example, maybe in his prime he warranted a max contract but for the last 5+ years any team giving him a bag is getting screwed.

you make a valid point, but I do wonder why they were flying and looked defensively solid when it was Luka and AR, before you know who came back. This is not LeBron slander I'm genuinely wondering why it worked

Oh we know LeBron plays no defense at all in the regular season, so I wasn’t surprised they were worse when he first got back. With that said, they did seem to be peaking before the injuries to Luka and AR. And the whole AR over LeBron talk was hilarious. I’d pick LeBron at age 60 over him and 90% of the league. Like I said, what may get LeBron to retire is him not being OK with being a fringe top 10 player in the world. Even at 40+ his ego isn’t built to handle that haha

I slightly disagree. I don't think that's what would get LeBron to retire. I think it's when he's offered a contract he deems beneath him. My guess is anything below something that equates to $30m per year and he's out. But for sure in the play offs there are probably only about 10 - 15 guys I would have rather than Lebron at this point. Might actually be less. Of course assuming health in all cases

Embiid is one of many id take over Bron in the regular season that I still even now would not take over him in the playoffs. Beyond staying healthy, Joel has to show he can actually step up in the playoffs.
