Mirra fhand finds the net and Marta breaks, Marta has been in the ''face' of Mirra from the start of the match and is not backing down
Mirra has to be more aggressive, has been a bit subdued but to Marta's credit she has not really let Mirra into the match so far
Mirra stands inside the baseline and Marta DFs
Mirra with a great return and breaks back immediately
A love service game from Mirra she needed that.
Mirra with 2 BPs
Marta with a Djoko smash at the net and Mirra breaks
Please Moon Ball tennis now
Marta with 2 BPs again with good returning and she breaks straight back
3 games all
Mirra chipping her return low and Mirra has SP, pushed the return back to deuce
Mirra with her SP No 2, nope Marta with a good first serve back to deuce
Back to back Aces from Marta
Marta holds saving a couple of SP
5 games all
Marta with a BP
Mirra gifts Marta a DF
Marta will serve for the match 6-5
Quite surprising both players have kept their 'emotions' in check in this match
CH No 3 for Marta

Well done to Marta Kostyuk who has won the biggest title of her career thus far defeating Andreeva 63 75 a great display of aggressive tennis and she showed her great athletic abillty through out the match, losing only 1 set all tournament
Marta will now go to a career high of No 15 with the win.

I followed Marta game for the past few years.. I thought she was a good player and a decent lady.. I think she should’ve congratulated Mira on reaching the finals and playing such a competitive match. Tennis and politics are mutually exclusive even on this forum is my opinion.

No she dosent allow photos with Mirra either or any other Russian player btw she also rants in speeches about the war in Ukraine, look I have empathy for what is going on, the Russian players didnt start the war, and she at least should show sportsmanship and congratulated Mirra, sad to say she wont or any other Russian player she faces in the future, that is why after she on I tuned off, because I knew what was coming
