Week 28: Umag Gstaad,Bastad
Week 29: Estoril, Kitzbuhel

Not a bad idea Mrzz, though there is a thread/post for Fedalovic Wars
But what about the others? You know I am all for diversity and inclusion... Oh, wait, Fedalovic earned their privilege. Fuck the excluded.

I hear you Mrzz, there are posts for other individual players, eg Sinner Man, a poster can start up their own post for a player etc.or a new or relevant post

Tell it to @El Dude! :face-with-tears-of-joy: He's the one pushing my buttons emphasizing Novak's losses as if he's wasting his time even competing! It's like Nole made those 4 Major SF's & got "nothing" from this crowd as Social Media highlites his accomplishments! The latest being he's the only man w/ 80%+ play/ winning on all 3 surfaces; HC, clay, & grass! I told you, he sets a rec. every time he goes out there! In y'all's mind, Fedal were warriors to the end! :face-vomiting: Yeah, right! Novak's only worth featuring things to undermine his GOAT-dom! It's just plain silly IMO; the disrespect! :face-with-symbols-on-mouth::yawningface::fearful-face::astonished-face:
LOL, you're paranoid. I wasn't thinking about you when I wrote that - more about what drives Novak now, when he's a distant #3 behind Sincaraz. I just don't think he can beat either anymore. Sure, he beat Carlos earlier this year, but Carlos wasn't playing great and Novak hasn't really improved from early on.

Anyhow, quit with the Fedalkovic Wars rubbish. It is beyond tired.

Or maybe there should be an ATP Olds thread.
I think we've tried that before, or some kind of historic thread, but no one was really interested unless it featured Fedalkovic warring. IIRC, it mostly was just me nerding out to numbers. Maybe it would be better now, though, as the old dogs fade into memory.

Fonseca just beat Tsitsipas in Davis Cup world group, closing the tie for Brazil.

I was watching and I gave up when Tsitsipas got to 5x3 in the third. Fonseca was playing pretty bad, errors all over the place. Worst match I have seen from him.

The fact that Tsitsipas still found a way to lose is mind blowing.

USA lose to Czech w/ Fritz and Big Toe in action at home on HC's.
US Davis Cup Captain Bob Bryan said that he considered replacing Tiafoe with Opelka on Saturday night. He decided not to since Reilly was 0-1 v Mensik. Frances went onto lose easily in straight sets. That was a mistake. Bryan thinks so too. Delray Beach turned out to be a nightmare for the US team.

just watched this match again. The video I wanted to post doesn't port for some reason. I think the owner put restrictions. Hell of a match, and controversial with the toilet breaks and Tsitsipas seemingly targeting Carlito

The eighth edition of the Laver Cup will be held at the Chase Center, San Francisco, September 19 - 21
Three of the Top 5 are among a field at the International event.
The first team to reach 13 points will lift the Laver Cup
Each win on Friday is worth 1 point
Each win on Saturday is worth 2 points
Each win on Sunday is worth 3 points

Team Europe has won five of the seven previous Laver Cups, but Team World has won two of the last 3. The Europeans took the trophy back in 2024.
Tennis Channel and the Tennis Channel App, will bring all the action.

Correction, One King, two princes, one drama queen, one spoiled little princess and one peasant slam
Mrzz I nearly fell off my chair when I read that Tsitsipas would replace Draper I thought it was a joke at first, further checking it is 100% correct
Tsitsipas receives $1.5m in appearance fee, just like the remaining players before they play a match.

I’ve never heard of such a badly named cash cow in all my years…
