Repeating his QF is not what Alex is looking for. The H2H is 2-2. Zverev, in this case, has the house money. And he's 21. I think he'll trouble Djoker.Repeating his QF is already a big achievement for Sasha. However, he had lost enough sets on the way to all kinds of weak players. He played two five setters already. The good news for Sasha will be that this will be just a three setter.

I do think he's a legit Slam contender. (Not this year at RG, though.) And as much as all he really should be thinking about at the moment is Djokovic, I think he's got Tsitsipas and Khachanov and FAA, etc. in his sights, too. He's got a lot on the line in this match, and I'll be surprised if he doesn't fight hard for it.I agree, Moxie. Sometimes (even often) people develop by taking a step back before taking two steps forward. Zverev plateaued in 2017-18 before really struggling the first half of this year. But I think he's pulling himself out of his hole and may come back stronger than before, and a legit Slam contender.
Now i don't think he's going to win Roland Garros, but I do think he'll "trouble" Novak.
