Woke up late and I was able to watch from midway in the second set. I am really happy for Simona. One would have feared a meltdown considering that she had already lost 3 slam finals, but she played excellent, and did not allow her previous losses to affect her.

Got so sleepy after the start of the second set at 2-2 that I went to sleep on the sofa. Checked scores to see Halep had managed to win. Must be a great feeling for her to have finally won a slam. Wasn't looking good at the beginning but tbh it would've been plain wrong to have a pusher winner and Stephens was pushing the ball way too much for my liking.

I meant to vote. It looks like, I forgot and stopped with just mentioning it in the post.

About draw challenge, I will participate in the Masters events. For the GSs, I play the draw challenge for real prize at racquet bracket and so I am kind of lazy to repeat it again here.

If you really enjoy a gloat, you should play the draws against people here. You often post your picks for the latter parts of the draw. And you post every day. I have a hard time believing that the 5 minutes it takes to post a draw is beyond you. Don't be afraid of turning up poorly in a given draw...we all do.
