Stosur could give her that and Kvitova is still in it . It would suck if she had to run the gauntlet of Stosur, Ana and Petra.

Stosur can, but you don't want her to wait until Petra (SF), before she gets tested. If Petra makes it that far, she's playing well and Serena will need to be battle tested before that round.

I now know Karolina is the higher ranked twin. Top 40 vs top 100 for Kristyna. Serena's path got a tad easier with Ana gone.
