I did not give Sinner much of a chance on grass quite frankly,I do not think he has played on grass a lot in his short career

Also, Opelka was shown the door by Kopefer in another demonstration of being tall is not good enough to win grass matches.

Disappointed to see Sinner out. Fucsovics is dangerous, though, and has played well against some top players, if I remember correctly.

Patience is a Virture....wait for the HC season it is a surface I feel Sinner is more suited for.

I am projecting Nishioka (5'7") to beat Isner (6'10").

Nishioka is the Pocket Rocket of Men's Tennis (after Shortman, of course). However, I have not seen him play recently and hopefully he is in good form.

1. Thomson defeated C. Ruud #12

2. Nick defeated Ugo #21.

3. Nishioka defeated Isner #28 (which I predicted above).

4. Querry defeated PCB #11 (Querry will be the 4th round opp of Fed, if Fed goes that far)

5. Chardy defeated Karatsev #30.
