That was hilarious! I'm looking forward to her quirky spin on things as she takes on the Aussies and the AO. Arienna, stay away from the germs, but please don't keep your mouth shut. :clap

Spiders have actually stopped me from travelling to Australia, Sydney in particular , with the funnel spider.I am hoping they are not near Melbourne so I can fulfill my dream of visiting AO at some point. And yes, I am a huge arachnophobic. I take care of everything else, but my wife handles the spiders. I can be found on top of a chair during the process...

Humorous and enjoyable read!

I never wanted to go to Australia, due in large part to all the poisonous snakes, spiders, box jellyfish, Lionfish, man-eating crocs and of course the great white sharks. Then I went and spent the better part of a month outside of Cairns during their dry season (July).

It was one of the most incredible trips I ever took.

We went from ocean to rainforest to tablelands and into the outback... no snakes, no spiders, no crocs, no box jellyfish, and no great whites. What we found everywhere was breathtaking scenery, nights skies filled with the most stars I've ever seen, beautiful exotic wildlife, and wonderful people wherever we went.
