Hi guys,
yesterday, March 25th 2014, it was exactly 30 years since Stefan Edberg won his first tournament in what was then called Grand Prix. It happened after an all Swedish final against Mats Wilander in Milan, at the Cuore Cup, an event that had earlier seen great champions like Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and Ivan Lendl win and where, 17 years later, also Roger Federer would take his first career ATP title.
We at STE...fans, the only tribute to Stefan Edberg on the web, wanted to celebrate this anniversary with a special on the event. Here are four pdf clippings to download taken from vintage tennis magazines reporting on that tournament.
