EDIT: I’m going with Stan in 4. I think he will be too much for Medvedev.

If the rumor that Med has a bad right shoulder is true, Wawrinka should win this.

I believe Wawrinka will take this match in 4 sets. Once Medvedev gets down in the match his mental game will ruin him and against a player like Wawrinka he will not be able to pull himself out from that.

Of all the quarterfinals this is the most difficult one to predict.

I am hearing some rumors of some injuries to Med. If true, he has no chance against Man.

If not, wait for my next post.

Tough one to call. I go with Wawrinka in 5.

If Medvedev is injured, for sure he won't get out of this one. Still, I think he hits the wall on this one. Too much negative publicity, too much otherwise miles, too fast. On the other hand, Wawrinka has looked better than he has since coming back from surgery. And we all know that he peaks at Majors. I would only give Medvedev one set if he's not injured. I went for Stan in 3.

Their H2H is 1-0 in favor of med who sent Wawa home early in Wimbledon couple of years ago. So, he definitely has advantage in fast courts, Their match is scheduled at day time when conditions are faster. Also, Med gets lots of free pts on serve and can rush the man a little bit. Although the crowds hate him, he likes being hated by them.

If he is not injured, I go with Med in 4 and otherwise Stan in 3.

I vote for Med in 4 as I don't believe rumors of his injuries.
