This should be a pretty straightforward match.

Picking Novak in three... four if he loses focus momentarily.

Depends on who wins the first set tie-break. If Novak wins it, Novak in straights. HOWEVER, if Raonic wins it...Novak in four :)

As long as Novak concentrates in this match up he will win in 3 sets, hopefully that will be the case,as I am not a fan of Milos and his game at all.

Well said, fashionista. Let's keep this short and sweet. I'm convinced I die a little every time I watch Milos play, so hopefully Novak can finish this off in straights.

Also, thanks for creating the thread/poll, Nehmeth! :)

I do not like Raonic's game but I feel among Nishikori, Dimitrov and himself he is mentally the strongest. He also has seems very determined and has been constantly improving. I hope he gives his best and makes it a very difficult match for Djokovic.

It might be a small thing but Milos better get some practices under his belt at the Rod Laver Arena. As far as I know, Nole played all his matches there and Milos played all his at Hisense. Like I said, maybe a small thing but Milos now has reference points and everything at Hisense. He played 4 matches there. It is like a small tournament. Even the court speed will be different.

Of course, it is Novak he is playing, so none of that stuff might matter at the end.

According to a commentator on ESPN (I forget who), the consensus among the players is RLA is the slowest.

I would not be surprised if raonic takes one or two tiebreaks, let's hope it does not get any worse than that. Novak already had his hands full at RG and the Us open I believe.

Don't worry about RG and the US Open just yet, Denis. ;)

I don't see Nole dropping a set in this match, but tiebreaks are a strong possibility...

Dojker is the only one left out of Big 3. I was wondering when was last time Fed or Nadal didnt show up in half-finals...back to...2005-2006 ?

And if Djoker wont enter halffinals this would be "New age". No Dojker, Fed or Nadal in last 4 on Grand Slam.

O so there was one. Not dating back to 2005-6. I remember that finals, worst fail by Nole, who lost to so medicore Muzza. Tnahx for mentioning.

This will be big for Raonic in a couple ways; 1 is obvious in that he is trying to break through and get to a slam semi for the 2nd time; the other is that he has yet to beat one of the elite players at a slam. I will also be interested to see how he plays on the heels of a long 5 setter. That can often be curtains next match for the big servers/slow movers.

Definitely hoping for Nole to win and without much trouble but I think it will be 4. Hoping for a Djoker-Big Berd final.

Going with Nole in 4,be shocked if there are no Tiebreaks in this Match.Nole & Andy have the best returns in tennis.

I have to go with Raonic in this one. He is at the vanguard of the great new generation which shows just much more "physical" the game has become in the last 10 years due to Nadal's influence. He's going to take Novak down and rep for New Balance!!!!!!!

Well at least this is tongue-in-cheek, unlike your 2013 Montreal final prediction ;)
