He's got to be smarter than that. he's a way bigger impact to his team than Draymond was. They can't afford him to be out against Minny. They currently have no rim protection and Minny is getting whatever shot they want right now.

I think the dude forgot he has a 12 foot reach. That was the right call to eject him but there won’t be a suspension. What a dumb play though. Now Minny should obviously take advantage and get this to 2-2. I guess this is the only hope for a good series this round.

Why not ? He could have broke his jaw..he had no remorse..I bet he wouldn’t try that crap against those goons on the Pistons

I don't know. These officials and the league these days are completely unpredictable. After NY sweeping in the East and the LakeShow in danger of facing the same fate, I don't put anything past them to suspend him 1 game like Darth said to ensure this is actually a series.

No No this is not come from the officials but will go back to the league reviewing team to determine if he will be suspended.. He has to get suspended as a real consequence for elbow him purposely with the intent to injure.

Antman and Step for my money is must have tv.. It would be a shame if Antman does not make the conference finals. Victor and the young spurs have plenty of time to make it to the finals.. I think the Spurs as a team outplayed the twolves for the majority of the game. Ayo was clutch and lucky how the ball bounced off his leg.. Finch should have put Mike Conley in the game late for ball handling purposes. Naz Reid is the heart of the team when Antman is double and Jaden McDaniels is AWOL.. DFox, Castle and the other guards are like Raptors.. they are rentlentless.. Julius Randle is lazy again, that;s why the Lakers let his azz go 8 or 10 years ago. ThEy cant win if he keeps make the same left side turnovers and bitching because everyone know as Stephen A said.. he only can go LEFT.

For my money, when WImby went out.. the game turned into a 5 on 5 playground basketball game.. the first to make 11 shots wins the game.. It so much more enjoyable for someone like myself who grew up from age 10 to 19 playing on the playground.. nothing was more fun to go across town as a 13-14 year old playing against 16-21 years old opposing players .. that's how you gain the respect of being a city hooper..

Honestly the OKC stuff in the media has reached damn near hysteria. Jesus Christ. The media likes to call players soft but their reactions to OKC is the softest shit I've seen in a long time.

It's not about whether the arguments themselves have validity or not, but you've got to be out of your minds if you think "they're ruining basketball." Good grief everyone needs to get a grip. The worst thing to happen to NBA coverage is everyone having a podcast.

gotta say.. Finch is really impressing me as a coach. Pushing Wemby over the limit was probably not accidental. Over the years I've watched Steph being grabbed and held on to, pinched and scratched. Same thing with Jokic and Shaq. All of these guys have generally kept their composure and picked their spots. This is just another lesson for Wemby. So far the kid shows he doesn't really make the same mistake twice.

Steve Kerr signed a 2-year extension to remain the Warriors head coach: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/48724788/steve-kerr-agrees-2-year-deal-remain-warriors

This tells me that the LeBron to the Warriors is definitely is very much in play. LeBron will play next year, maybe even another year after that. To me, it comes down to whether he will stay with the Lakers or go to Golden State. If he goes to Golden State, it will probably be for the 2 years Kerr is under contract.

I really really hope you're wrong. I can't see how that happens anyway unless he takes a serious pay cut. More than a third of the cap space is injured until late in the season (Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody =$68m)

I’d take the 2 year extension to line up with what is maybe the remainder of Steph’s career as opposed to any sign that LeBron will go there.

I feel like it’s close to 50-50 he retires after this year. Bron is pretty washed, still a legit superstar but that isn’t good enough for him. Luka isn’t AD just yet but that guy is always hurt come playoff time, except last year when he wasn't injured but was way out of shape. All
of this is to say, I don’t think LeBron has delusions of this team being a contender going forward.

And financially it wouldn’t work on GSW and it’d just be weird. In some ways it’d be cool to see and maybe next year would be a bit of a farewell tour if it played out that way, though he has said he doesn’t want one and 90% of Americans hate him anyways so maybe not lol. But can you imagine LeBron playing for $15 mill a year or something like that? I can’t.

I completely agree. I think the Olympics was one thing, but at this stage LeBron is all about bolstering his legacy. I just don't see, from a risk/reward perspective what the benefit would be for him

The Golden State core has 2 years left, with Steph and Draymond. My guess is that they will target a star, most likely an aging one that fits the timeline, to try to squeeze one last drop out of the orange. It may or may not be LeBron. Yeah, I don't see LeBron playing for $15M a year. I think he will play 2026-27 in the $25M-$35M range (if it's a one-year thing, I can see closer to $35M, two years he may go closer to $25M).

My gut tells me LeBron isn't going to retire on a year that feels 'incomplete'. I mean, he didn't start the season on time, and it's ending without Luka. I think the most likely scenario is that he will return to the Lakers for another year or two (they will sign Reeves to his desired number, and LeBron will take the leftover), but if he did go to Golden State, I won't be surprised one bit. Some of the wheels are in motion for it.
