Yeah Roger isn't playing well but even if he was he'd be in trouble. Kei isn't missing and is all over his serve. I like that Roger is being ultra aggressive, just don't like all the misses on the forehand

Only good thing about a blowout first set is Roger hasn't had to use up a lot of energy.

We need Kei to come to net more for gifts like that similar to Zverev donating to Nadal last night.

Well Roger has made things a lot tighter. Definitely finding his serve now.

Unfucking real, probably would be 0-40 to tie this set up

Ugh. The wheels are coming of completely with Kei and his serving is abysmal last game.

This would be a brutal set for Kei to lose. It would be tough for Roger too because he has spent a lot of energy coming back but at least he's playing a lot better and would still feel good going into set 2.

Phew. Kei finds his serve just in time and takes the first set. It feels like Federer is going to win this match though.

Awful tiebreak from Roger and he loses it. Suddenly he's still down a set and it was an hour long set. Not good. First few games here are key, if Kei jumps out fast this match is probably over

oh no after staging a great fightback, Roger has lost the first set in a tiebreak.

I don't see him getting back into the match unless Kei chokes badly. His got the first set so chances of the happening a second time is slim.

Roger's return...ugh. Ancient or not I think he'd have won a few more in his late 20's and 30's if he still had a decent ROS.

What are you talking about? It's 47-47 in points at the moment. No-one is dominating and Kei is relying on Fed's UFE's too much at the moment. This match is far from over.

Just horrific returning. Placement doesn't even matter against him
